The road to the 2009 AHSAA Super 6 State Football Championships is almost over.

This year, the state championships will take place at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa.

All tickets will be sold at the gate, day-of-game, for $10. In addition, all tickets are “good any day” tickets and are good for all of the games on the day that the ticket is used.

The schedule is:

Dec. 3 games

11 a.m. — Class 3A

3 p.m. — Class 1A

7 p.m. — Class 5A

Dec. 4 games

11 a.m. — Class 4A

3 p.m. — Class 2A

7 p.m. — Class 6A

The schedule for Friday’s state semifinal games is:

CLASS 1A

Loachapoka (11-1) at Brantley (12-1))

Hackleburg (13-0) at R.A. Hubbard (11-2), Courtland

CLASS 2A

Pickens County (12-1) at Reeltown (12-1)

Lamar County (13-0) at Clay County (12-1), Ashland

CLASS 3A

Cordova (12-1) at Luverne (10-3

Piedmont (11-2) at Leeds (11-2)

CLASS 4A

Handley (13-0) at Jackson (12-1)

Deshler (12-1) at Cherokee County (13-0), Centre

CLASS 5A

Spanish Fort (11-2) at Demopolis (10-3)

McAdory (11-1) at Russellville (11-2)

CLASS 6A

Prattville (11-2) at Auburn (13-0)

Hoover (12-1) at Gadsden City (11-2)

All games begin at 7 p.m., except Prattville-Auburn, which begins at 8.
