Kristen White’s double-double of 30 points and 12 rebounds powered Geraldine to a 73-57 triumph over Sylvania in varsity girls action Nov. 24.

White sank 10-of-12 free throws.

The Lady Bulldogs led 25-25, 38-34 and 57-50 at the rest stops.

Alanna Smith closed with 11 points and nine rebounds. Caitlyn Roe scored 10 for GHS.

Both Raney Body and Ali Duke had six and Ashley Rains five.

Madison Academy 71, Geraldine 33: The Lady Bulldogs took a tumble in their opening game of the Tournament of Champions at Rainsville on Nov. 25.

White’s 19 points provided the highlight for Geraldine against Madison Academy, which is ranked No. 1 among Class 3A girls.

Plainview 59, Geraldine 52: Turnover problems early in the contest put the Lady Bulldogs in a hole in their Nov. 25 loss in the Tournament of Champions.

The Bears led 17-10, 36-19 and 49-36 at the rest stops.

White pumped in 25 points to power GHS. Body scored seven, and Paten Chavis collected five points and seven boards.

North Sand Mountain 60, Geraldine 47: Class 2A, No. 4 NSM upended the Lady Bulldogs on Saturday in the Tournament of Champions.

The Bison saw advantages of 23-12, 38-23 and 52-33 at the quarter breaks.

Geraldine received 14 points from Roe and 10 from White.

Smith posted nine points and six boards while Duke got seven points and five rebounds. Body scored seven.

Geraldine 52, Collinsville 43: The Lady Bulldogs (3-3) completed play in the Tournament of Champions by knocking off the Panthers on Saturday.

Collinsville led 16-11 and 27-23 at the first-half breaks. It was tied 37-37 at the final rest stop.

White pumped in 16 points for GHS. Smith turned in a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Chavis tossed in eight points, both Body and Roe six, Duke four and Rains two.
