4 vehicles broken into at Boaz cinema lot

Boaz police are investigating four vehicle break-ins over a two-day period in the Boaz 9 Cinema parking lot.
The vehicles sustained an estimated $4,100 in total damages and nearly $6,000 of property was stolen, according to Boaz police Chief Terry Davis, citing reports.
The vehicles all received damage to their windows.
The latest incident happened on Monday. An Albertville resident reported the break-in of his 2001 Chevrolet Impala. No property was stolen, but front and rear windows were shattered, causing $500 worth of damage.
The other three break-ins included:
• an iPod Touch and a Pioneer DVD Touchscreen Receiver stolen from a 2003 GMC Yukon on Sunday;
• a JVS car stereo/CD/Navigator GPS system, a set of Punch speakers and a Punch power booster stolen from a 1999 Ford Explorer on Sunday; and
• a Clarion CD car stereo system, a pair of Costa Del Mar sunglasses, an iPOD Touch and a Garmin GPS Navigator stolen from a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado on Sunday.
Thefts
Boaz police are investigating four additional burglary and theft reports.
• A resident at 516 McDowell Circle reported the break-in of her 2004 Toyota Highlander while parked at her home on Monday. She reported an iPod, valued at $80, was stolen.
• A resident at 1296 Bethsadia Road reported a burglary at her home on Saturday. A Guess purse and wallet, a Kodak digital camera, a scanner, and prescription drugs were reported stolen. The items were valued at $400.
• A resident at 613 College Ave. reported a set of diamond wedding rings, valued at $10,000, stolen from her home on Saturday.
• A resident at 54 Powell Circle reported a possible burglary at her home on Saturday, when a storm window was broken out causing $200 worth of damage. Nothing was reported missing at the time of the report.
Shoplifting
Boaz police arrested three suspects for shoplifting.
• Steven L. Robinson, 26, of 2300 Deerman St., Guntersville, was arrested for third-degree theft of property after Wal-Mart Supercenter reported the theft of Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 video games valued at $65 on Monday. The items were recovered, according to the report.
• Jennifer A. Haynie, 37, Attalla, was arrested for third-degree theft of property after Wal-Mart Supercenter reported the theft of body wash, leggings, a gown and a pack of bracelets valued at $28 on Friday. The items were recovered, according to the report.
• Candice L. Patterson, 20, of 60 Shadowbrook Circle, Boaz, was arrested for third-degree theft of property after Piggly Wiggly reported the theft of two Mountain Dews, a Dr Pepper and a pack of Chips Ahoy cookies valued at $7 on Friday. The items were recovered, according to the report.
Criminal mischief
Boaz police are investigating three reports of criminal mischief.
• A resident at 204 Maple Ave. reported someone struck his mailbox on Sunday, causing $30 worth of damage.
• A resident at 902 Seay Ave. reported someone struck his mailbox on Sunday, causing $25 worth of damage.
• A Boaz man reported someone damaged two tires on his Chevrolet Colorado on Saturday while the pickup was parked at 117 Lindo Drive. Estimated damage was $140.
