Storm Soccer Club will conduct boys tryouts for the fall 2009 season Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Albertville Recreation center.
Additional tryouts will be today, Thursday and June 7 at the soccer fields near Rainbow Middle School in Rainbow City from 4-8 p.m.
Since its establishment two years ago, Storm Soccer Club has grown to be the largest Division I/II program in northeast Alabama.
In fall 2008, Storm fielded nine Division II teams, including two state championship teams, two semifinalists and a state finalist team.
Storm players are from Etowah, Calhoun, Cherokee, DeKalb, Marshall and St. Clair counties.
Last year, 23 different schools were represented by Storm players, including Gadsden, Southside, Jacksonville, Fort Payne, Collinsville, Albertville, Oxford, Faith Christian, Cherokee County, Coosa Christian and Donoho.
