Gladys Marie Norton, 72, of Sardis City, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, at Marshall Medical Center South.

Services will be today, Saturday, Sept. 5, at 11 a.m. at Etowah Memorial Chapel with Sister Lennie Jo Carroll officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Vernon Cemetery, near Collinsville.

Survivors include her son, Steve (Ginger) Norton, of Sardis City; daughter, Becky Huey, of Gadsden; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; brother, Charles (Jean) Tinsley, of Fort Payne; sisters, Audrey Hightower, of Sand Rock, and Edna Copeland, of Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.
