Roy Douglas Vaughn
Roy Douglas Vaughn, 67, of Guntersville, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, at Marshall Medical Center South.
Services are today, Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 2 p.m. at Albertville Funeral Home with the Revs. David Martin and Pete Hess officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, in the Egypt Community in DeKalb County.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Vaughn, of Guntersville; daughter, Martha (Terry) Smith, of Albertville; sons, Edwin (Carmen) Vaughn and Doug (Lynn) Vaughn, all of Boaz; stepdaughter, JoAnn Hand, of Geraldine; stepson, Kenneth Hand, of Germany; brothers, Bufford Vaughn, of Attalla, and Louis Vaughn, of Boaz; sisters, Ozella Langley, of Gadsden, Lorene Stanfield, of Walnut Grove, Doris Griffin, of Douglas, and Mildred Starling, of Gadsden; 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
