Herbert Lee White, 49, of Horton, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at his home.

Graveside services were Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 2 p.m. at Douglas Cemetery with the Rev. Marvin Porter officiating. Adams Funeral Home was in charge.

Survivors include his sons, David Lee White and Timothy Gene White, both of Douglas; April Kay White, of Collinsville; mother, Nelda White, of Horton; brothers, Pat White, of Oneonta, and Alfred Smalley, of Alder Springs; sisters, Jane Ott, of Rainsville, Mazell Higgins, of Albertville, and Regina Taylor, of Douglas; and seven grandchildren.
