One hurt in Boaz wreck on U.S. 431

Published November 26, 2009

A Guntersville woman was hurt in a three-vehicle accident Tuesday on U.S. 431 near Williams Street, according to Boaz police.

The accident happened at 3:25 p.m., said Boaz police Chief Terry Davis.

Deneise Ann Allred, of Guntersville, was transported to Marshall Medical Center South for treatment, police said.

A hospital spokeswoman could not provide an update on the victim’s condition Wednesday morning because the hospital’s computer system was undergoing maintenance.

Vehicles involved in the accident were a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado driven by John B. Coby III, 18, of Guntersville; a 1997 Nissan Pathfinder driven by Cynthia B. Mickel, 41, of Albertville; and a 1996 Dodge Intrepid driven by Cecily S. Whorton, 21, of Gadsden.
