Mildred Burks, 86, of Huntsville, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009.

Services were Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at Whitesburg Baptist Church with the Rev. Emerson Lyle officiating.

Burial followed in Maple Hill Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years Willard Burks, of Huntsville; son Billy E. Burks and his wife Carolyn of Guntersville; daughters, Wilda Annette Davis of Huntsville; Claudia Campbell and husband Peter T. Campbell of Mims, Fla.; brother, Robert Hasty of Hohenwald, Tenn.; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
