William Earl White aka ‘Bill or Pete’ White
William Earl White, aka “Bill or Pete” White, 67, of Albertville, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at his home.
Services will be today, Saturday, Feb. 6, at 1 p.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel with the Revs. Wes Lowery and Larry Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Brasher’s Chapel Cemetery.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 830, a Past Master of Mount Morahia and the Huntsville Shriners. He retired after 20 years of service in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church, where he was a deacon.
He loved music, especially playing the guitar and he loved helping everyone.
Survivors include his wife, Connie White; sons, LTC Richard (Coni) White and Robert (Tina) White; grandchildren, Zachary Tucker, Jessica Tucker, Kathryn White, Madison White and Valerie White; brothers, J.D. White, Randall White, Nolan White and Don White; sisters, Wilda Smith, Vivian Dollar, Rebecca Hyde, Sally Armstrong, Margaret Davis and Carol Bearden; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bruce and Christine Bright; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Tucker.
Pallbearers will be military personnel and members of The Masons.
