Mildred Smith Stephens, 82, of Horton, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at Cullman Regional Medical Center.

Services were Saturday, Oct. 31, at noon at Snead Chapel Funeral Home with the Revs. Randy Burtram, Bric Latham and Allan Hughes officiating. Burial followed at Bethel Church Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, James L. Stephens, of Horton; daughter, Sandra (Bill) Hall, of Albertville; son, Terry (Sandy) Stephens, of Hoover; sisters, Betty Horsley, of Altoona, and Bonnie Cornelius, of Oneonta; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
