Aggies lose to Tigers

GURLEY — Madison County outscored Albertville 17-7 in the fourth quarter to rally for a 47-41 victory in varsity boys action Tuesday night.

Madison County led 14-5 after the first period, but the Aggies (5-2) rallied for a 21-19 advantage at intermission.

Albertville’s margin was 34-30 at the final rest stop.

The Aggies’ leading scorer was T.J. Vines with 10 points. He grabbed six rebounds.

Michael Reeves had seven points and three steals. T.J. Pams collected six points and nine rebounds.

Ridge Wilks scored six, Derek Hayes four, Dareon Thompson three and Cody Manderson and Brody Owen two each.

Donte Spurgeon added one point and four assists.

Cordarius Cross scored 17 and Seab Webster 15 to lead the Tigers.
