Two Albertville men are facing felony sex charges involving the same victim after the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant Wednesday afternoon at 5355 Rose Road.

The Sheriff’s Office arrested Jefferey Paul Matthews, 35, aka Jefferey Paul Rainwater, of 5355 Rose Road, on charges of incest, two counts of first-degree rape, 10 counts of second-degree rape, first-degree sodomy, second-degree sodomy, possession of obscene material and production of obscene material.

The Sheriff’s Office also arrested Chris Allen, 36, of Head Street, on charges of first-degree rape and second-degree rape in connection with the case.

The two suspects are being held in the Marshall County Jail without bond, authorities said.

“In both arrests, the two men have been charged with the crimes against the same victim,” Sheriff Scott Walls said. “The case is still under investigation and more arrests are expected.”

Albertville police and the Marshall County District Attorney’s Office assisted sheriff’s investigators.
