Funeral services for Quentin Wade Wright, 41, of Horton, were Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Greg Gibbs and Stanley Jones officiating. Burial followed at Liberty Cemetery, near Aroney.

Mr. Wright as a native of Etowah County and a resident of Horton for the past five years. He was a 1986 graduate of West End High School and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

He loved to hunt and love Alabama football.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Wendell Wright, and his grandparents, Mattie Alice Brothers, Pervie Brothers, Maude Wright and Oliver Wright.

Survivors include his mother, Blenda Gail Wright, of Altoona; sister, Ronda Wright Gibbs; brother-in-law, Greg Gibbs; nephew, Nick Gibbs; niece, Rachael Gibbs (Matt) Leverton; great-nephew, Gunner Leverton.

Pallbearers were Nick Gibbs, Michael Dixon, Kermit Mitchell, Danny Moore, Brent Mashburn, Gary Smith and David Watkins.

Honorary pallbearers were all cousins.
