TODAY



RSVP class on First Aid and CPR will be today from 8 a.m. until noon. Admission is free. Call 571-7734.



Boaz Elementary School Fall Festival will be today from 4-8 p.m. at the school. Food, games, inflatables, bingo and a cakewalk are planned.



Albertville Chamber of Commerce’s Early Bird Breakfast will be today at 7:30 a.m. at Taylor Mortgage, 8523 U.S. 431 South. Call 878-3821.



WEDNESDAY



RSVP class on “Cooking for Diabetics” will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. Linda Bray will teach how to properly prepare food for diabetics. Cost is $5. Call 571-7734.



LifeSouth Blood Drive will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. -5 p.m. at Wal-Mart, in Boaz.



RSVP computer class, Vista Introduction, part 2, will meet for four Wednesdays, beginning this week, from 9-11:30 a.m., and an afternoon class from 1-3:30 p.m. Cost is $20. Call 571-7734.



RSVP program on tips and resources for Type 2 adult onset diabetics will be Wednesday from 9 a.m. until noon for those who have preregistered. Cost is $5.



THURSDAY



Whole Backstage auditions for the comedy “Leading Ladies” will be Thursday and Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 10 a.m. at the WBT in Guntersville. Scripts are available now. The cast has three women and five men. Call 582-7469.



FRIDAY



The Guntersville chapter of the Experimental Aircraft will have its Gala Banquet on Friday at the Lake Guntersville State Park Lodge. Tickets are $50. Transportation will be provided between the Guntersville Municipal Airport and the park for out-of-town pilots. See www.eaa683.org for details and registration information.



SATURDAY



The North Sand Mountain Farmer’s Market will give pumpkins for children to paint at the market and will have face painting on Saturday from 8-11 a.m. There are peppers, grapes, herbs, potatoes, greens, watermelons, pumpkins, squash and more. The market is located on the lawn at the Upper Sand Mountain Parish at 24474 Alabama 75, in Sylvania.
